Reunion Itinerary

Reunion update:

Chuck and I kicked it around, and decided that Anchorage is not Alaska,to experience Alaska you have to get out in it, so if your coming up here it is about as cost effective to rent a motor home or camper and pickup, or camping gear which can be rented , I have a pretty good supply of it. in lieu of hotels. Although there are some military hotels in Seward ,Anchorage at Elmendorf, and Ft Wainright in Fairbanks.and spend afew days on the Kenai Peninsula, a day in anchorage for the ladies and shopping, , a day in Talkeetna, and on to Denali National Park, there will be no open ending and starting date, as to most it will be s once in a lifetime experience.but the target date is August 1.

Since most of you will arrive at 0 dark thirty, I will find a hotel to meet up at to get the ball rolling, and have time to make travel arrangements....(to be continued as info becomes available)

Let me know what you think, since I will be the tour guide

I can furnish links to about anything you want from hotels to car rentals, fishing trips, flight seeing etc. Just ask.

Reunion update: Rooms are available at the Soldotna Inn in /Soldotna Alaska, 866 262-9169 Anchorage is pretty much sold out, (and all rooms are upwards of 250 a night). The prices range from 129, to 209 with the 209 an apartment that sleeps 3. If you are going to rent a car, rent it in Soldotna, much cheaper than anchorage. Just take the Grant airlines shuttle, cost 85 bucks and I will pick you up and deliver you to Hotel or car rental place. If you are going to rent an RV do that in anchorage. I can supply phone numbers for those outfits but be advised, you better step on it. According to the state travel office, this is to be the most tourists in the states history.
